Freelance Compliance Auditor (South + North India)

Major Responsibilities
- Proactively conduct the social compliance audits, factory security audits and other special audit in a timely and professional manner in accordance with Company and Client’s requirement.
- Identify and record the social audit/assessment findings according to the clients’ requirement and related legal regulation and keep communication with the Factory for the further improving direction and plan.
- Timely provide and submit the comprehensive assessment audit report, relevant documents, data and photograph with accuracy.
- Proactively provide training to the Auditors / Assistant Auditors or the new members if necessary.
- Effective internal communication with the Compliance Specialist and other team members to facilitate effectiveness and work efficiently and provide timely support and explanation if necessary.
- Committed to the Company’s core values and the requirement of Code of Ethics, actively report the bribery case or accident may violation with the integrity and Code of Ethics (eg. Gifts from factory, red packets etc.).
- Timely and correctly review the factories’ improvement plan and provide appropriate guidance.
- Randomly cross check the audit reports and available evidence obtained on -site for verification and provide comments for further improvement purposed with Supervisor.
- Assist to collect and update the relevant knowledge of the industry/labor law/ social compliance/security regulation and procedures and share with team members.
- Ability to share and provide constructive feedback gained from the performing of duties like working tools and audit process to assist Line Manager to drive for continue improvement.
- Ability to fulfill the other job assignment but not limit to the above listing.
Knowledge and Skills
- Minimum 12 to 15 years of experience in social compliance & CT PAT auditing is preferred.
- APSCA Certified Social Compliance Auditor (CSCA) is mandatory.
- SA8000 and other professional technical certificate are an advantage.
- Well versed in social compliance standards and applicable local laws. Familiar with security/C-TPAT standards.
- High level of integrity in all business dealings; maintaining confidentiality, transparency and demonstrating ethical behavior and conduct.
- Ability to coach, develop and lead audit team. Must be a team player.
- Adequate skills, abilities, and experience to conduct audits independently and deliver quality report in a timely manner.
- Frequent travel in domestic and occasional travel to overseas as required.
- Proficient in English both in writing and speaking.
- Well versed in MS Office, window, excel, word, PPT, teams.
- Minimum graduation.
